I’m Ronald Overdevest. I’ve been working in the electrical industry for over 30 years, and for the last 9 years I’ve run my own business, bringing my skills and experience directly to homeowners, businesses, and commercial clients across New Zealand.

I take pride in providing a personal, hands-on approach. No middlemen, no compromises. Every project I take on is completed to the highest standard of safety, compliance, and performance

My Story

Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of industries including pulp and paper making, gold mining, water treatment, precious metal refining, sugar refining, and co-generation plants. I’ve also been part of high-profile projects such as the London Underground, the Wellington Matangi train upgrade, and other various large-scale construction sites.

These experiences have given me a deep technical foundation and the confidence to tackle even the most complex projects. Now, as an independent electrician, I bring that same knowledge and precision directly to your home or business.

From solar design and installation to bespoke lift systems and industrial electrical, his work is driven by technical excellence and a commitment to safety.

• Member of the Electrical Inspectors’ Association of NZ (NZEIA)

I continue to complete professional training to stay current with regulatory changes and new technology, including specialist solar courses.
